2027 Elections: Ilefa Pledges to Mobilise Five Million Nigerians for Tinubu Re-Election

Abuja, Nigeria – November 17, 2025 – Political strategist and public affairs analyst, Peter Ikpen Ilefa, has pledged to mobilise five million Nigerians in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Monday, Ilefa said the nationwide mobilisation is aimed at consolidating Southern Nigeria’s backing for Tinubu and encouraging him to seek a second term.

The initiative, he explained, will engage stakeholders across all geopolitical zones, highlighting the President’s achievements in infrastructure, economic reform, and security as evidence of effective leadership.

Ilefa cited key milestones under Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, including the abolition of fuel subsidies, enhanced state allocations, financial autonomy for local governments, expanded student loan programs, a higher minimum wage, and improvements in macroeconomic indicators.

“We’ll mobilise a five million-man march and endorsement rally for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR to celebrate his giant strides over the past two years,” Ilefa said. “This will be the day the people of Southern Nigeria speak with one voice to endorse our president and urge him to consider a second term in office.”

Ilefa, who is also director of Forward with Bola Ahmed Tinubu (4BAT), emphasised that the movement seeks to send a unified message from Southern Nigeria, showcasing public confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and policies.
