2027: Tinubu Can’t Defeat Jonathan, Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso Alliance – Tambuwal

Aminu Tambuwal, former Sokoto State Governor has advanced a hypothetical indication that President Bola Tinubu cannot overcome an opposition led by former President Goodluck Jonathan, ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso.

According to Tambuwal, if these politicians decide to run in 2027, Tinubu will be unable to defeat them.

He did, however, encourage them to form a coalition, stating that such an alliance would make it easier to defeat Tinubu.

The Sokoto South Senator disclosed this while appearing on Channels Television’s programme, Politics Today, on Friday.

He said: “It will be easier for the opposition to form an alliance to defeat Tinubu but if Tinubu, Jonathan, Atiku, Peter Obi, and Kwankwaso run in the same election that would be difficult for Tinubu to win.

“When this happens the dynamics will be different and a lot of things will change the way people will vote.”

On his favourite presidential candidate, Tambuwal said: “When they all declare openly then I will come back and tell you my choice.”
