The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has vowed that Abuja will be transformed into a world-class city under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking on Monday at the flag-off of construction works on Access Roads ILS 02 and ILS 03 (Timipre Sylva Street) in Mabushi District, Wike said the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the FCT was on track.
“We give God Almighty appreciation to be here to construct this all-important road. In terms of infrastructure, Abuja will compete with other known cities of the world,” Wike declared.
The minister stressed that his role, along with other appointees, was to execute the president’s vision for the capital.
“So many people have accused us of constructing roads. I said that’s one good thing—at least you’ve identified that something is going on,” he added.
Wike urged residents to support the administration’s ongoing efforts, noting that Tinubu’s commitment to Abuja’s transformation was unwavering.
