Iyabo Ojo breaks silence on Lizzy Anjorin’s curses, says lawyers preparing case

Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has explained why she has refused to respond publicly to the attacks and alleged curses directed at her family by fellow actress Lizzy Anjorin.

The actress, who became a grandmother earlier this year, revealed via Instagram on Sunday that her silence was intentional, stressing that she chose peace over confrontation while focusing on her family.

“I’ve seen all your DMs, voice notes, and questions about my silence despite all the defamatory statements, insults, death wishes, and curses aimed at my family, especially my grandson. Honestly, I struggle to hold my peace, but sometimes silence is necessary. Who God has blessed, no one can curse,” Ojo wrote.

Family first

The actress disclosed that the last few months have been dedicated to supporting her daughter, Priscilla, in her journey into motherhood and caring for her grandson. She said that season of joy has kept her grounded despite the provocations.

Legal action underway

Ojo confirmed that her legal team is documenting every statement made against her family and will take action once she returns to Lagos.

“My lawyers are monitoring everything. At the right time, the matter will be addressed properly,” she assured her followers.

The actress also thanked fans for their concern, urging them to remain patient. She noted that while it has been difficult to keep quiet, she is choosing wisdom and legal recourse over social media drama.
