BBNaija Season 10: Kola Silenced After Breaking Big Brother’s Red Telephone Rule

Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kola, has been hit with one of the toughest punishments of the season after breaching Big Brother’s strict confidentiality rules.

On Monday, Head of House Jason Jae announced Big Brother’s verdict: Kola is banned from speaking until further notice. Instead, he must rely on a writing pad to communicate with fellow housemates, who will be required to read his words aloud before responding.

The punishment stems from Kola’s decision to disclose details of a highly confidential “red telephone” conversation despite clear warnings not to share its contents.

The call in question involved Agent X offering Kola a luxury manicure and pedicure session valued at ₦1 million, which would be deducted from the grand prize if accepted. Kola turned down the offer but later revealed parts of the exchange to other contestants.

Big Brother’s statement read:

“Kola, you discussed part of your conversation on the red telephone despite being warned that you weren’t to discuss it with any of your fellow housemates during the course of your stay in Big Brother’s house.

As punishment, you’re forbidden from speaking till further notice. For the duration of this punishment, you’re only to communicate by writing on the writing pad that Big Brother has provided, except when speaking to Big Brother.”

The unusual sanction has already stirred conversations among fans online, many calling it one of the most dramatic twists of the season so far.
