The Osun State Police Command has appealed to the public for help in identifying and reuniting the family of a man who was found unable to speak in Modakeke, Osun State.
Police spokesperson DSP Abiodun Ojelabi said in a statement on Monday that the man was discovered on October 3, 2025, at Adelola Area, Modakeke.
According to the police, the unidentified man was “unable to speak and was dressed in a campala outfit when found.”
He is described as dark in complexion, with no tribal marks, an oval-shaped face, and about 3.4 feet tall.
DSP Ojelabi noted that all efforts are ongoing to locate his family and that the Command has released the information publicly to assist in tracing his relatives.
“The relatives of the above person shown on the screen are enjoined to contact the Divisional Police Headquarters, Modakeke Division, or the Family Unit, Oke-Fia, Osun State,”
the statement read.
The police urged anyone with useful information about the man or his family to report to the nearest police station in Osun State to help reunite him with his loved ones.
