Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has urged her colleague Regina Daniels to walk away from her marriage if allegations of domestic violence against her husband, Ned Nwoko, are true.
Taking to Instagram, Jegede gave a direct and unapologetic message, insisting that no form of violence should be tolerated in marriage — whether the victim is male or female.
“Regina, you are still very young. If there’s violence in your marriage, please carry your bag,” Jegede wrote. “There is never sugarcoating for me as long as violence is involved — both for man and woman.”
Her post comes amid widespread online speculation following Regina Daniels’ cryptic messages about alleged abuse in her marriage.
Jegede, known for her outspoken personality, further advised the young actress to prioritise her mental health and the well-being of her two sons over public perception or societal pressure.
“She should think about her sanity and her children first. No relationship is worth enduring pain or violence for,” she added.
Neither Regina Daniels nor Ned Nwoko has issued an official statement on the matter as of the time of reporting.
