“Build Yourself Before Expecting to Marry Rich” — Actor Uzor Arukwe Advises Single Ladies

Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has urged single women to focus on personal growth and self-development before aspiring to marry wealthy men.

The actor gave the advice while reacting to the social media frenzy surrounding his role as Odogwu, a wealthy and caring lover, in the romantic drama Love In Every World 2. Fans have flooded social media with admiration for the character, describing him as their “ideal man.”

Arukwe, however, clarified that his character’s love interest, Chioma — played by reality TV star Bambam — was already a hardworking and valuable woman before Odogwu began supporting her.

“The billionaire didn’t have to ask what she brought to the table,” he said. “It was evident that she was industrious and had built value for herself.”

Taking to his X handle, the actor wrote:

“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”

Arukwe’s message has sparked conversations across social media, with many fans praising his take on self-worth and the importance of mutual value in relationships.
