
Popular Nigerian singer and Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Tourism and Entertainment, Martins Okechukwu Justice, widely known as J. Martins, has narrowly escaped death after his car veered off the highway and plunged into a bush.
The frightening incident occurred on Monday along the Enugu–Aba–Port Harcourt expressway after the vehicle reportedly suffered a brake failure.
Eyewitnesses said the singer’s car suddenly swerved off the road and sped uncontrollably into the thick bush before finally coming to a halt.
Speaking about the ordeal, J. Martins described the experience as “terrible” but expressed deep gratitude to God for sparing his life.
“It was a terrible experience, but I thank God for saving me from what could have been a tragedy,” he said.
The “Good or Bad” crooner confirmed that he came out of the vehicle unhurt.
Fans and colleagues have since flooded social media with messages of relief and thanksgiving following news of his miraculous escape.
