Uche Montana Denies Involvement in Regina Daniels’ Reported Drug Crisis

Nollywood actress Uche Montana has firmly denied claims linking her to the alleged drug-related issues surrounding fellow actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

The controversy emerged after Nwoko, in a detailed Facebook post, accused several individuals close to Regina—including Montana and actress Sonia Uche—of obstructing her rehabilitation. Nwoko claimed these individuals allegedly ignored medical advice and reportedly provided Daniels with the very substances she was being treated for.

Addressing the allegations on Instagram on Monday, Montana stated:

“My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims. For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”

The actress’ statement comes amid escalating public attention on Regina Daniels’ marriage. Just two weeks ago, Daniels accused her husband of domestic abuse, describing herself as a “slave” in her home. Nwoko has refuted these claims, asserting that his wife is struggling with drug and alcohol addiction and alleging she physically assaulted domestic staff.
