A man yet to be identified has been discovered dead outside a filling station in the Seme axis of Badagry, Lagos State, prompting calls for information from residents as authorities work to establish what happened.
The body, found on Monday near the Total filling station in Seme, was reported to be lying face-up and dressed in a white, black-striped top. Witnesses noted that his chest and neck appeared severely damaged, with bones visibly exposed, raising questions about the circumstances leading to his death.
CityMood Badagry, which shared a public alert alongside a photograph of the deceased, urged anyone who could help identify the man or contact his relatives to notify the appropriate authorities immediately.
The platform said no additional details had been confirmed, and it remained unclear whether foul play was suspected.
Efforts to reach the Lagos State Police Command for clarification were unsuccessful, as the command’s spokesperson, Abimbola Adebisi, was unavailable at the time of filing this report.
The discovery has sparked concern among residents of Badagry West, where locals are now hoping for swift action and answers from investigators.
