KWAM 1’s Daughter Dami Quashes Dating Rumours with Singer Asake

Social media speculation sparks buzz after a photo at an event, but Dami clarifies it was their first meeting

Dami Marshall, daughter of Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has dismissed rumours linking her romantically with singer Asake.

The speculation arose after Dami shared a photo with the singer at a recent event, captioning it: “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” which many interpreted as a confirmation of a romantic relationship.

Addressing the rumours on her Instagram page, Dami clarified that the image simply captured her first meeting with Asake. “Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic,” she wrote.

Asake, who has not publicly confirmed any romantic relationship since his breakup with Gambian musician Madame Mystique in 2014, remains single according to available public records.

The clarification has put to rest growing social media speculation and highlights the influence of online gossip in shaping celebrity narratives.
