Netanyahu Warns Israel “Not Done Yet” in Strikes on Iran as Tensions Escalate

TEL AVIV, Israel — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel’s military campaign against Iran is far from over, claiming the offensive has significantly weakened Tehran’s capabilities.

Addressing leaders of Israel’s health system, Netanyahu reiterated his call for the Iranian people to rise against their government, stating that he hopes they will eventually “cast off the yoke of tyranny.” He emphasized, however, that any political change in Iran would ultimately depend on its citizens.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi dismissed prospects for renewed talks with the United States, signaling Tehran’s readiness to continue missile operations indefinitely. The firm stance comes in response to claims by former U.S. President Donald Trump that the conflict with Iran would end “very soon.”

The escalation traces back to a joint Israeli-U.S. strike on February 28, which triggered a regional conflict spreading across the Middle East and raising fears of a prolonged confrontation.

Netanyahu’s remarks underscore Israel’s continued commitment to pressuring Tehran, while Iran appears resolute in pursuing its strategic operations without immediate negotiations.
