VDM Alleges King Mitchy’s Public Apology Is a “Decoy” Amid Safety Concerns

Content creator and social activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has raised alarms over his personal safety following a public apology from socialite King Mitchy, suggesting the gesture may conceal a more sinister agenda.

King Mitchy had previously acknowledged VDM’s advocacy for national improvement, expressing regret for earlier confrontations. She said: “To VeryDarkMan, my brother, I see what you’re fighting for… I’m sorry for coming at you like that. Maybe now I understand you better.”

However, VDM has claimed that the apology could be a decoy, warning of potential targeting by influential individuals. Speaking on Instagram, he linked the apology to previous incidents involving other personalities and alleged intimidation.

“This apology from King Mitchy cannot just come from nowhere… It looks like something is coming for me, and they told her to make this apology to clear the air,” VDM said.

The activist also cautioned that attempts could be made to frame him for criminal activities, warning: “If you hear they see drugs or firearms in my car… or say I’m involved in fraud or money laundering, they set me up. Anything to send me to prison.”

VDM’s statements highlight growing tensions among social media personalities in Nigeria, where disputes often spill into public and online platforms, sometimes raising concerns over personal safety and accountability.
