Otti and Nwaigwe Forge Powerful Alliance Ahead of 2027 Abia Elections

Obingwa, Abia State — A new political alliance is rapidly emerging in Abia South as Chief Solomon Nwaigwe formally joins the Labour Party, pledging his support for Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, in the upcoming 2027 elections.

Chief Nwaigwe, a prominent businessman, politician, philanthropist, and socialite from Amaise Umuokereke-Ngwa, Obingwa Local Government Area, brings with him significant influence and a loyal following across Abia State. He is the founder and leader of the All Citizens Forum (ACF), a grassroots political group with a presence in all 17 local government areas.

Speaking on his decision, Chief Nwaigwe cited Governor Otti’s “remarkable performance” and transformative initiatives that have “restored the dignity of Abia people” as key reasons for his alignment with the Labour Party.

Following a private meeting with Governor Otti, Chief Nwaigwe pledged to collaborate with political leaders to ensure peace, unity, and a decisive victory for the Labour Party in Obingwa and throughout Abia South.

Preparations are already underway for the official reception of Chief Nwaigwe and his thousands of supporters by the governor and party officials, signaling a formidable political force in the state’s upcoming elections.
