Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembele has named Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé among his top three players in the world ahead of the 2026 Ballon d’Or nominations.

Dembele, the current holder of the prestigious individual award, shared his choices during an interview with French newspaper L’Equipe as anticipation builds for the official unveiling of this year’s nominees on Tuesday.

The PSG winger did not rank the three players but singled them out for their outstanding performances over the past season.

Asked to name his top three players in world football, Dembele replied: “Kvaratskhelia and Harry Kane, who had a very, very good season, and I think Kylian Mbappé.”

The French international also expressed confidence that the Ballon d’Or would remain at Paris Saint-Germain, insisting that one of the club’s players deserves to win the award.

“I do not think there is any doubt about this award. I think it will remain in the hands of a Paris Saint-Germain player,” Dembele said.

Dembele’s comments have added another layer to the debate surrounding the 2026 Ballon d’Or, with several of Europe’s biggest stars expected to feature prominently when the nominees are announced.

Kvaratskhelia has emerged as one of PSG’s key attacking players, while Kane has continued to strengthen his reputation as one of football’s most prolific forwards. Mbappé, meanwhile, remains among the leading names in the race for the game’s biggest individual honour.

With the nominees set to be officially revealed, attention will now turn to the players expected to challenge for one of football’s most prestigious awards.
