Ronaldo Targets Nations League Glory, 1,000 Career Goals

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has identified two major targets for the next stage of his career: helping Portugal win the UEFA Nations League and reaching 1,000 career goals.

The Al Nassr forward made his ambitions clear as he continues to pursue further success with both his country and at club level.

According to a post by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X on Wednesday, Ronaldo said his immediate objectives are winning another Nations League title and reaching the 1,000-goal milestone.

“The missions now are two: winning the Nations League and reaching 1,000 career goals,” Ronaldo was quoted as saying.

Ronaldo has already enjoyed a decorated international career with Portugal, winning major honours and becoming the country’s all-time leading goalscorer. He has also established himself as one of the most prolific scorers in football history.

His pursuit of 1,000 career goals would represent another significant milestone in a career that has already produced numerous individual records and team trophies.
