Speed Darlington Threatens to Fight Burna Boy Whenever They Meet

Nigerian music star Speed Darlington has threatened to physically confront his colleague, Burna Boy, whenever they meet.

Speed Darlington made the statement during a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, where he said he has no relationship with the Grammy-winning singer and would not hesitate to fight him.

The Akpi crooner also expressed interest in facing Burna Boy in the boxing ring if he defeats skitmaker Carter Efe in his forthcoming bout.

“Me and Burna Boy have no relationship. If Burna Boy enters any room that I am present in, I will fight and jump on him. If I win the forthcoming boxing match between me and Carter Efe, I hope Burna Boy will be next,” he said.

Speed Darlington’s latest comments come amid his long-running dispute with Burna Boy.

DAILY POST recalls that Speed Darlington was previously remanded in prison over allegations of defamation involving Burna Boy. He was later granted bail, while the matter remains before the court.

The dispute began after Speed Darlington made allegations concerning Burna Boy’s relationship with embattled American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs and linked the issue to Burna Boy’s Grammy award.

Burna Boy has not been quoted in the report as responding to Speed Darlington’s latest threat.
