NFF to Honour Moses Simon If He Wins 100th Super Eagles Cap

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, will honour Moses Simon if the winger makes his 100th appearance for the Super Eagles against Madagascar on Friday, according to DAILY POST.

Simon is in line to reach the milestone in Nigeria’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Madagascar.

The Paris FC winger made his Super Eagles debut in March 2015 during an international friendly against Uganda.

He came on for Anthony Ujah in the 59th minute of the encounter to begin his career with the senior national team.

The 31-year-old has since established himself as a regular member of the Super Eagles, featuring in both competitive fixtures and international friendlies.

Simon has played 64 competitive matches for Nigeria and 35 friendly matches, taking his total to 99 appearances.

He has also featured in 23 matches for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations finals and played 22 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.

The winger has scored 11 goals in his 99 appearances for the three-time African champions.

With one more appearance against Madagascar, Simon will reach the 100-cap landmark and become eligible for the NFF’s planned recognition.
