Amber Rose Says She No Longer Identifies as a Feminist After Becoming a Mother

American model and television personality Amber Rose has revealed that she no longer identifies as a feminist, saying motherhood has influenced how she views gender issues.

Rose said her perspective has changed as she has grown older and raised her sons, giving her what she described as a broader understanding of the subject.

The model stressed that she still supports women’s empowerment and believes in what she called “girl power”, but said she now considers perspectives from both men and women.

“As I’ve gotten older and now have sons, I’m no longer a feminist. I still believe in girl power, but I see both sides now,” Rose said.

Her comments reflect a change in how she describes her personal views, which she linked to her experiences with age and motherhood.

Rose has two sons, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, whom she shares with rapper Wiz Khalifa, and Slash Electric Alexander Edwards, whom she shares with music executive Alexander “A.E.” Edwards.
