President Bola Tinubu is expected to lead presidential campaign rallies in 12 states as the All Progressives Congress (APC) prepares for the 2027 general elections, according to a proposed campaign timetable released by the ruling party.
The schedule outlines campaign appearances across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, with activities expected to begin in Kaduna on October 24, 2026, and conclude with a grand finale in Lagos on January 9, 2027.
The proposed timetable includes major political centres such as Port Harcourt, Jos, Ibadan, Maiduguri, Enugu, Bauchi, Sokoto, Asaba, Kano and Yola. The planned rallies are expected to form part of the APC’s nationwide campaign efforts ahead of the presidential election.
According to the schedule, Kaduna State will host the opening rally on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is listed for November 7, followed by Jos, Plateau State, on November 14, and Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 21.
The campaign is then scheduled to move to Maiduguri, Borno State, on November 25, before heading to Enugu on November 28 and Bauchi on November 29. Sokoto is listed for December 4, while Asaba, Delta State, is scheduled to host the rally on December 12.
Kano State is expected to host Tinubu’s campaign on December 17, 2026, before the schedule resumes in the new year with a rally in Yola, Adamawa State, on January 4, 2027.
