Davido’s Aide Dre Offers Cash Reward for Missing Phone at Zlatan’s Wedding

Damilare Aladegbola, popularly known as Dre and an aide to Afrobeats star Davido, has offered a cash reward to anyone who returns his missing phone, which he said disappeared during rapper Zlatan Ibile’s wedding ceremony in Lagos.

Dre made the appeal in a post on his Instagram page on Monday, asking whoever had the device to return it in exchange for money. He did not disclose the amount he was willing to pay.

“If na u carry my phone for Zlatan wedding, abeg return am, I go give you money please,” he wrote, appealing directly to the person he believes may have taken the phone.

The Davido aide also expressed frustration over what he described as a possible pattern of phones going missing at social gatherings. His comments suggested that he suspected the device might have been taken while guests were seated at a table during the event.

Dre warned that he would react angrily if waiters asked whether he had finished eating so they could clear his plate, claiming that such interactions could create an opportunity for phones left on tables to disappear.

“From now on, if I go any party or dey any party and any stupid waitress tell me say are you done eating so I can pack your plate, na swear I go swear for you cause na pattern wey una dey use pack phone for table be that now,” he added.

However, Dre did not identify any suspected individual or provide evidence establishing how his phone went missing. His comments about waiters reflected his own suspicions and did not establish that any member of the event’s staff was involved.

Zlatan married his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, at a traditional wedding ceremony in Lagos on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The event attracted several celebrities and well-wishers, including Davido, who reportedly took part as one of the groom’s groomsmen.

Dre’s appeal has drawn attention to his missing device, with the aide asking for its return and offering money in exchange. For now, the circumstances surrounding the phone’s disappearance remain unclear.
