The Principal Special Assistant to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia on Youth and Media Mobilization, Mr. Atu Terver, popularly known as Krayzeetee, has been kidnapped by unidentified persons.

News of his abduction surfaced late Tuesday after his wife raised the alarm in a distressed social media post. According to her, she received a shaky call from her husband in which he said, “I have been abducted, call mummy.” Subsequent attempts to reach his phone were unsuccessful.

Terver, a well-known political mobilizer in Benue, recently drew public attention after dismissing one of his aides who had joined a protest against killings in the state.

As of Wednesday morning, security agencies had not confirmed the incident or provided updates on rescue operations. The state government is also yet to issue an official statement.

His abduction adds to growing concerns about insecurity in Benue and across the Middle Belt, where cases of kidnapping, violent attacks, and community unrest have continued to unsettle residents.
