Bournemouth: Three arrested after missing 16-year-old girl found safe

Police in Dorset have arrested three people on suspicion of child abduction after a missing 16-year-old girl was located in Bournemouth.

The teenager, who had last been seen on 12 September, was reported missing and believed to have travelled to the seaside town.

Following an intensive search and public appeals, Dorset Police confirmed she had been found and thanked members of the public for their support in sharing information.

Two men, aged 22 and 28, and a 23-year-old woman — all from Bournemouth — were taken into custody. They remain under police questioning.

The force has not released further details about the circumstances of the girl’s disappearance but said safeguarding measures are being put in place.
