BREAKING: Chelsea Appoint Thomas Tuchel As Coach

In a bid to solve Chelsea FC’s continual woeful performance, the Club has confirmed the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as its new manager.

He replaces Frank Lampard, who was sacked on Tuesday following a string of bad runs in the EPL.

A statement on the website of the club said Tuchel has signed an 18-month contract with the possibility of an extension.

He said: ‘I would like to thank Chelsea FC for their confidence in me and my staff.

‘We all have the greatest respect for Frank Lampard’s work and the legacy he created at Chelsea.
