Singer’s father reveals DNA tests were carried out on Davido and B-Red as paternity claims intensify.
Nigerian music star Davido has publicly thanked his father, Adedeji Adeleke, for defending him amid renewed controversy over the paternity of Aanu Adeleke.
The latest drama follows an open letter from Aanu, who is reportedly the teenage daughter of Davido’s alleged baby mama, Ayo Labinjoh. In the letter, Aanu demanded that Davido take a paternity test.
Davido has denied ever meeting the teenager and has repeatedly insisted that DNA tests conducted previously proved she is not his daughter.
Ayo Labinjoh, however, has challenged the singer’s claims, dismissing the tests as fake.
On Wednesday, Adedeji Adeleke held a press conference to defend his son. He disclosed that the paternity test was conducted on both Davido and his cousin, singer B-Red, a move he said was intended to clear the air.
Davido responded on Thursday with an Instagram post showing him alongside his father. He wrote: “Thank you my loving Father.”
The ongoing controversy has continued to spark heated debate online, as supporters and critics weigh in on the paternity dispute.
