Nollywood comic actor and content creator, Okemesi, is in coma following complications for drugs he was given in a hospital.

Actor Jeff Owolewa, better known as Tony Montana, made this known in an Instagram post on Monday night.

This came two days after Okemesi moved into a new apartment rented for him by the public.

DAILY POST recalls that Okemesi, whose real name is Bamidele Tope Saint, solicited financial assistance over two weeks ago after suffering from sickness that left him homeless.

However in a new development, Okemesi colleague, Jeff Owolewa, disclosed that the actor has been hospitalized again following complications from the drugs given to him by a hospital that treated him earlier.

Narrating how Okemesi was rejected by different hospitals before finally being taken back to the first hospital that treated and discharged him last week, Jeff noted that Okemesi is currently in a coma.

While urging Nigerians to put him in prayers, Jeff also begged for financial assistance for his treatment.

Jeff said “Guys, Okemesi has been hospitalised again. He was sleeping all through Saturday and Sunday without having much appetite for food due to complications from the drugs that were given to him from the hospital when he was discharged last week.

“I rushed to his house very early on Monday to take him to hospital. He was rejected in different hospitals including a government hospital in Igodo, the doctor refused to attend to him saying there’s no bed space. I have to take him back to the first private hospital that started his treatment. So they admitted him, and stabilised him.

“His breathing is improving. So, he has been in coma since Monday morning. They have placed him on oxygen. We’re all praying that he gets back on track.”

I run a news website. Anytime I paste a news story here (copied from another website or source), I want you to: Rewrite the news story to BBC-standard journalism: Create a strong, SEO-worded headline that not only ranks well but also captivates readers, and make it sensational where needed without losing accuracy. Ensure the rewritten version is clear, professional, and human-sounding (no AI clichés or generic phrasing). Retain the original meaning and facts but avoid copying sentences unless they are direct quotes. Improve readability, flow, and structure.
Position SEO keywords naturally in the headline, subheadings, and body. Write with an engaging, journalistic tone that feels like a masterpiece. Avoid starting with “In” or other formulaic AI-style intros. Create social media posts to promote the story: Facebook & LinkedIn: Write a short, captivating post. The news link should go in the comment section, not inside the post. Use relevant and trending hashtags X (Twitter) & Threads: Write a shorter version of the post with the link included. Use relevant and trending hashtags Use relevant and trending hashtags for reach (specific to the story). Output format should always be: Final News Article (BBC-standard) Facebook Post (with note: link in comments) LinkedIn Post (with note: link in comments) X Post (short version with link) Threads Post (short version with link)
