Nigerian businessman and social media personality Isaac Fayose has issued a stark warning over the 2027 general elections, cautioning that a return of President Bola Tinubu could push the country’s fuel prices to N5,000 per liter.
Fayose shared his message in a video posted on Facebook, reacting to a controversial poster featuring President Tinubu, his wife, and their son, Seyi Tinubu. He described the poster as “abnormal” and criticized the administration’s perceived disregard for Nigerians’ economic hardships.
Highlighting what he called the dangers of a “government of the family,” Fayose urged citizens to exercise their voting power to prevent further economic strain. He said:
“These people will not come back. Let our votes come in bulk or else you will buy fuel at N5,000 per liter. It is going to be a thing of family heritage. You, your children, your unborn children will be in bondage forever.”
Fayose also questioned the effectiveness of the fuel subsidy removal, referencing government claims of saving billions of dollars monthly. He stressed that 2027 represents a crucial opportunity for Nigerians to reclaim control over national governance.
