A mob in the Agunbiade area of Somolu, Lagos State, has reportedly assaulted a yet-to-be-identified physically challenged man over allegations that he used diabolical means to steal another man’s manhood.

This incident occurred barely a week after a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Samsideen Oladiti, popularly known as Shamelon, allegedly assaulted a tricyclist to death in the Lagos Island area of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt on Sunday from an eyewitness, identified simply as Gbenga, that trouble started on Thursday, when a man raised an alarm, claiming his manhood disappeared after he picked up a cash note allegedly dropped by the disabled man.

According to him, the alarm drew a crowd who descended on the suspect, beating him and demanding that he restore the victim’s manhood.

Photographs from the scene showed the physically challenged man, who appeared crippled, with bloodstains on his head, apparently from injuries sustained during the attack.

The suspect was alleged to have confessed to using the money for the diabolical act and reportedly promised to restore the manhood if allowed to go elsewhere.

Gbenga said, “An Aboki (a term commonly used to describe northerners) was caught today for attempting to steal a manhood through diabolical means.
