Troops of the Nigerian Army, acting on credible intelligence, stormed the hideout of the terrorist faction in the early hours of the morning along the Luma Banana axis.

Sources revealed that the insurgents were caught off guard as soldiers surrounded the area and opened fire. The gun battle reportedly lasted for hours, neutralizing many fighters while others fled into nearby bushes.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered at the scene, further crippling the operational capacity of the Sadiku faction.
