Noella Foundation Launches Ramadan Feeding Initiative, Serving 3,000 Meals Daily Across Lagos

The Noella Foundation, in partnership with FoodClique Support Initiative, has launched its annual Ramadan feeding programme in Lagos, providing 3,000 meals daily to Muslims across multiple local government areas during the 30-day fasting period.

Now in its sixth consecutive year, the initiative originally started during the COVID-19 pandemic as an emergency response to rising food insecurity. It has since grown into a seasonal outreach programme promoting dignity, compassion, and structured community support.

Speaking at the launch, Noella Foundation Co-Founder Layal Tinubu described the programme as “a reflection of shared responsibility and the power of sustained partnership.” She added:

“Ramadan is a season of sacrifice, reflection, and generosity. Through our partnership with FoodClique, we can extend meaningful support to thousands of families across Lagos.”

The daily meal distribution is coordinated across various local government areas to ensure equitable access. Volunteers and partner teams oversee operations, maintaining transparency, efficiency, and accountability.

Since its inception, the initiative has reached millions of beneficiaries, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to hunger eradication and sustainable social development. Beyond feeding, Tinubu emphasized that the programme is a symbol of collective goodwill turning reflection into lasting social impact.
