Nigeria international Raphael Onyedika has confirmed he will remain with Belgian side Club Brugge until the end of the 2025/26 season, despite interest from European clubs, DAILY POST reports.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been linked with Turkish giants Galatasaray and German Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg, both of whom reportedly sought his signature during the January transfer window.
Discussions with Club Brugge led Onyedika to defer any potential move, with both player and club agreeing he would finish the season in the Belgian Pro League.
Galatasaray attempted to secure the midfielder earlier in the window but could not meet the club’s valuation. Similarly, Wolfsburg’s €20 million offer was firmly rejected.
Onyedika, who has one year remaining on his contract with Club Brugge, is expected to evaluate transfer opportunities during the summer, potentially opening the door for a high-profile move.
The midfielder has been a standout performer for Club Brugge this season, drawing attention from top European clubs with his composure, ball distribution, and versatility in midfield.
