Popular social media commentator VeryDarkMan has questioned the cancer diagnosis claimed by controversial relationship influencer Blessing CEO, calling for medical evidence to verify her announcement.

Blessing CEO announced on Wednesday that she is battling stage 4 breast cancer and appealed for public support to fund her treatment, including a breast amputation. Her post quickly drew messages of encouragement from Nigerians and celebrities alike.

Reacting on Thursday via an Instagram video, VeryDarkMan urged Blessing CEO to provide medical documentation to substantiate her claims, highlighting the sensitivity of cancer as a public issue.

“I just hope what Blessing CEO is saying is the truth. Because I hope it is not prank, clout chasing, or something she wants to use to gather money… Cancer is not something that someone should joke with because it has claimed many lives. And till tomorrow, there’s still no cure for it,” he said.

He further questioned the lack of receipts or hospital reports and described the post as “emotional blackmail” without evidence.

“I’m not convinced enough that Blessing CEO is saying the truth. You did not provide the report of the hospital that diagnosed you… Post the proof here,” VeryDarkMan added.
