TikTok Star Peller Says He’ll Return to School at 40, Chooses Streaming Over Classroom

The 20-year-old Nigerian creator says formal education can wait as he prioritises income from live streaming.

Nigerian TikTok personality Peller has said he has no immediate plans to further his education, insisting he will only consider returning to school at the age of 40.

Speaking during a recent livestream, the 20-year-old content creator explained that stepping away from streaming to spend long hours in a classroom would affect his earnings. For now, he said, his focus remains on building his digital career.

“School would always be there,” Peller told his viewers. “I’m not going back to school now. I can’t sit in a classroom for seven hours without making any money. I’ll return when I clock 40.”

The influencer, who completed his secondary education several years ago, maintained that education is not being ruled out entirely—only postponed until a time he believes will better suit his priorities.

Peller’s stance has drawn mixed reactions online, particularly as conversations continue around young influencers, financial success and the long-term value of formal education.

During his previous relationship, his ex-girlfriend, Jarvis, had reportedly encouraged him on several occasions to pursue further studies, advice he chose not to follow.

For now, Peller appears committed to live streaming and content creation, betting on the momentum of his growing online audience.
