Tiktoker Peller Credits Funke Akindele for Helping Him While in Prison

Nigerian TikTok star Peller has revealed that renowned actress Funke Akindele played a pivotal role in securing his release from prison following his December 2025 arrest.

Peller was detained after an alleged deliberate car accident in Lagos State, which prompted the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to order his arrest and prosecution for reckless driving.

During the premiere of the movie ‘Love Notes’ on Saturday, Peller expressed his gratitude to Akindele, who he said intervened on his behalf.

“She was the one who helped me when I was in prison. She was the one who helped my life,” Peller stated, acknowledging her support.
