Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage has spoken openly about her plans to expand her family, revealing a strong desire to have more children — particularly boys.
Speaking during a recent interview with US podcaster Joe Budden, the award-winning singer disclosed that she is no longer freezing her eggs and is seriously considering the prospect of becoming a mother again.
“I want more children, boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy,” Tiwa explained.
The superstar, who is already a mother, has been candid in the past about balancing her career with parenthood. She previously underwent egg freezing to safeguard her chances of having more children but now says she is ready to move forward.
Tiwa Savage began her career as a backup vocalist for international stars such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige before returning to Nigeria, where she rose to prominence in the early 2010s with hits like Kele Kele Love and Eminado. Today, she is celebrated as one of the most influential female voices in Afrobeats, blending music stardom with honest conversations about her personal journey.
