Tiwa Savage Says She’s Open to Being a Second Wife, Cites Lack of Single Men

Award-winning Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has revealed that she is open to becoming a second wife, admitting that most of her potential suitors are either much older or already married.

Speaking on a recent episode of the American podcast Air Service, the 44-year-old mother of one candidly discussed her dating life, saying she has reached a stage where eligible men her age are rare.

“If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they are either in their 50s or already married. So, I don’t know. Maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife,” Savage said.

The singer added that she would have no issues coexisting with a first wife, emphasizing that she is respectful and would prioritize her music career over domestic conflicts.

“I think I can get along with the first wife and she’s going to love me because I’m not going to be troublesome. I’ll be going on tours, not stressing anyone. I’m very respectful; I know she’s the first wife and I’ll accord her that respect,” she explained.

Tiwa Savage was previously married to music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as TBillz, from 2013 to 2018. The marriage ended amid allegations of infidelity from both sides. The former couple shares a son together.

Her candid confession has since sparked a heated debate online about polygamy, modern relationships, and the pressures faced by successful women in the entertainment industry.
