 Trump-Putin summit: US President Donald Trump warned that Russia will face “very severe consequences” if President Vladimir Putin doesn’t agree to end the war in Ukraine during their meeting Friday in Alaska.

European leaders urged Trump not to strike a unilateral Ukraine peace deal. French President Emmanuel Macron said Trump told them during a virtual meeting that territorial issues will not be negotiated by anyone but Ukraine’s president.
