Tinubu Investing in Youths Opponents Neglected and Deceived – Lagos APC

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is transforming the lives of young Nigerians whom the opposition “neglected and deceived for years.”

According to the party, Tinubu’s youth-centred policies are not political gimmicks but practical blueprints for national transformation.

In a statement on Friday, APC’s Lagos spokesman, Mogaji Seye Oladejo, described the president’s leadership style as a “living testament to visionary governance anchored on youth empowerment.”

“For decades, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has demonstrated a rare and consistent belief in the energy, intellect, and innovation of young Nigerians,” Oladejo said. “From Lagos to Abuja, his philosophy has been clear — groom the young, trust their talent, and watch them transform society.”

Oladejo contrasted Tinubu’s track record with that of opposition parties, accusing them of making “empty promises” while the president is ensuring generational empowerment.

He listed several initiatives under Tinubu’s administration — including NELFUND (Student Loan Scheme), CreditCorp, 3MTT, NITDA Talent Hunt, and the Digital Innovation Support Fund — as evidence of tangible investments in youth development.

“While others merely paid lip service to youth development, President Tinubu has put concrete structures in place. This is not charity; it is investment – an investment in skills, in innovation, and in the future of Nigeria’s workforce,” he added.

The APC spokesman said Tinubu’s push for technical education and entrepreneurship was reshaping Nigeria’s future, adding that the president’s inclusion of young people in governance proves that “the future is now, not tomorrow.”

“From cabinet appointments to policy priorities, the President has placed young Nigerians at the center of governance. He has shown that youth inclusion is not an act of benevolence but a strategy for national greatness,” Oladejo noted.

He further accused opposition parties of trying to win back youth support through “shallow activism and social media propaganda.”

“The truth is simple,” Oladejo said. “Nigerian youths are smarter than propaganda. They know who truly invests in their future and who only remembers them at election time.”
