Jeffrey Epstein Scandal: French Model Details Alleged Grooming Pipeline Linking Scouts to Abuse Network

A former French model has laid bare the disturbing chain of events that led her into the orbit of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, exposing what she describes as a calculated system of grooming and manipulation within the modelling industry.

Juliette G., now 43, says it took years to fully understand how a seemingly legitimate modelling opportunity turned into a traumatic encounter in New York. Her account forms part of a broader wave of allegations tied to the global reckoning over sexual abuse in the fashion world following the MeToo movement.

She accuses French modelling scout Daniel Siad of targeting young women and gradually drawing them into vulnerable situations. According to her, the process began in Paris in 2004, when she was approached with promises of career opportunities in the United States.

What followed, she said, was a carefully staged progression—first building trust, then isolating her. After being flown to New York with limited details, she was directed to a Manhattan address where she briefly encountered Epstein, whose name had not been disclosed beforehand.

Her ordeal escalated when Epstein allegedly took her passport, leaving her effectively stranded. She described this as a deliberate tactic to create dependency and control. He later gave her money and access to a limousine, which she interpreted as another layer of psychological pressure, making her feel indebted.

The next day, what she expected to be a professional meeting turned into something far more unsettling. She recounted being led through a property adorned with explicit imagery before being taken to a bedroom, where she says Epstein requested to see her body under the guise of assessing her suitability for modelling work.

“I hesitated, but I’d just spent hours travelling and they had paid for everything,” she said, describing the moment she complied despite her discomfort.

Juliette said she eventually managed to retrieve her passport and leave, but the psychological impact lingered for years. She is now speaking out to support ongoing investigations into individuals accused of facilitating abuse linked to Epstein’s network.

Her claims echo those of other former models, including Swedish national Ebba Karlsson, who also alleges that she was groomed through similar methods before being assaulted. Both women suggest a pattern in which scouts exploited ambition and vulnerability to connect young women with powerful figures.

Siad has denied all allegations, while investigations in France continue into individuals accused of enabling Epstein’s activities. The case has also drawn renewed attention to figures like Jean-Luc Brunel, who was arrested in 2020 over similar accusations and later found dead in prison.

The revelations underscore persistent concerns about abuse of power within elite networks and the modelling industry, raising questions about accountability and the systems that allowed such practices to flourish.
