The Edo State Police Command confirmed that Ibrahim regained her freedom on May 13 after a joint team of security personnel intensified operations across the area in a bid to dismantle kidnapping networks terrorising local communities.
In a statement issued in Benin City, the command’s spokesperson, ASP Eno Ikoedem, said five suspects were arrested in connection with the abduction.
The suspects were identified as Nura Saminu, 24; Shaibu Isah, 23; Suraj Sabitu, 23; Yajubu Sagiru, 23; and Oseni Abdullahi, 26.
