
Nigerian singer Kehinde Adegbodu has broken his silence after suffering injuries in a fire incident at his family residence in Ibadan, Oyo State, reassuring fans that he is recovering well and was not a victim of any spiritual attack.
Concern had grown among fans after the musician was seen with visible injuries on his hand and face during a recent public appearance, sparking speculation across social media about the cause of his condition.
Addressing the rumours in a video shared on the Adegbodu Twins fan page on Wednesday, the singer explained that the injuries resulted from a fire accident that occurred at his home about a week ago.
Kehinde said he initially chose not to make the incident public because he did not consider it something worth celebrating or drawing attention to. However, he decided to speak out after noticing growing concern and misinformation surrounding his condition.
The singer stressed that he is medically stable and recovering steadily from the injuries sustained during the incident. According to him, the fire affected parts of his left hand, lips and face, but the wounds are already healing.
“All I need from you is prayer. May God help me to overcome every seen and unseen spiritual battle,” he said while appealing for support from fans and well-wishers.
Clarifying reports circulating online, Kehinde firmly rejected claims that he was battling spiritual attacks. He described such rumours as false and urged the public to focus on the facts surrounding the accident.
“People have been saying I was attacked spiritually. Please, I’m not battling any form of spiritual attacks. It is just a fire accident,” he stated.
