American rapper A$AP Rocky has dismissed suggestions that his partner, global music and business icon Rihanna, being wealthier than him has created insecurity in their relationship.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Jason CC Show, the rapper said he has never felt intimidated by Rihanna’s billionaire status, stressing that he celebrates her achievements rather than competing with them.
Rocky explained that while Rihanna is a billionaire, he has built his own successful career and remains financially independent, making it unnecessary to compare their individual fortunes.
“My woman [Rihanna] got billions, I got multi-millions. Her success isn’t mine. I am proud of my woman. No one can make me insecure because she is richer than I am. It just doesn’t make sense,” he said.
The rapper also made it clear that he does not feel entitled to Rihanna’s wealth or business success, emphasizing that each of them has earned their achievements through separate careers.
Rocky and Rihanna have been together since around 2020 and have become one of the entertainment industry’s most celebrated couples. Beyond their music careers, they have frequently supported each other’s personal and professional milestones.
The couple share three children—their sons RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot, born in August 2023, as well as their daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, who was born in September 2025.
Rocky’s comments have drawn praise from fans on social media, with many describing his remarks as a refreshing example of confidence, mutual respect and support within a high-profile relationship.
