
The National Executive Council of the OK Movement has reaffirmed its support for Peter Obi and Rabi’u Kwankwaso ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging to intensify grassroots mobilisation across Nigeria.
The group made the commitment after its national and zonal leaders met with the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Wednesday to review its campaign and mobilisation efforts.
Led by its Director-General, Hon. John Ughulu, the delegation discussed the movement’s role in the 2027 presidential campaign and strategies for expanding voter engagement ahead of the election.
Those at the meeting included National Secretary Saadatu Mohammed Sanni, National Director of Administration and Human Resources Aisha Aliyu Abdulrahman, and National Director of Operations Francis Nnodi.
Other leaders present were Director of Mobilisation and Outreach Rev. Victor Ekam and zonal coordinators Chris Elijah for the South-South, Adefolaseye Adebayo for the South-West, and Alhaji Sulaiman Abubakar for the North-Central.
The National Executive Council and zonal coordinators pledged to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, improve campaign coordination and increase engagement with voters across the country as the 2027 election approaches.
The group also reaffirmed its support for the Obi-Kwankwaso ticket and said its members would work towards securing victory for the duo under the NDC platform.
“The mission is clear. The commitment is unwavering. NDC all the way,” the group said.
