BBNaija’s Sheggz Confirms Breakup With Bella, Denies Cheating and Reveals He Bought Engagement Ring

Big Brother Naija star Segun Olusemo, popularly known as Sheggz, has confirmed that his relationship with fellow former housemate Bella Okagbue ended in January 2026.

Sheggz made the disclosure in a statement shared on his social media platforms, breaking his silence after allegations surrounding the collapse of their relationship. The reality TV star also firmly denied cheating on Bella.

Explaining why he had previously avoided discussing the matter publicly, Sheggz said he had chosen to remain silent out of respect for his family. However, he said he was compelled to respond after what he described as attempts to damage his reputation.

“For clarity, I did not cheat on Bella, and I have been single since January 2026,” he said.

Sheggz also revealed that he faced health challenges in 2025 and spent a significant period receiving treatment in England before returning to Nigeria in October. According to him, issues that arose during that period affected trust within the relationship, despite efforts by both parties to resolve them.

The BBNaija star said he was serious about building a future with Bella and had taken steps towards marriage. He disclosed that he had purchased an engagement ring because he genuinely believed their relationship could lead to a lasting future.

“I genuinely wanted the relationship to work. I even went as far as purchasing a ring because I believed in the possibility of a future together,” he said.

Sheggz said the relationship eventually reached a point where continuing together was no longer possible. He stressed that he does not intend to engage in a public dispute with Bella or her family over the breakup.

“I have no desire for hostility or public back-and-forth,” he said, while wishing Bella well and expressing hope that both parties could move forward peacefully and with respect.
