
Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri has opened up about his final moments with his close friend and fellow actor, Ogogo, revealing what they discussed shortly before his death.
Ogogo reportedly died on Sunday after battling stage 4 cancer. He was buried the following day in his hometown in the Ilaro area of Ogun State, where friends, colleagues and family members gathered to pay their final respects.
Quadri, who was visibly emotional during the funeral, described Ogogo as more than a friend, saying their bond was like that of brothers.
Speaking for the first time since the actor’s death, Quadri referred to Ogogo as his “twin brother from heaven”, reflecting on the close relationship they shared throughout their years in the Nigerian film industry.
The veteran actor also recalled visiting Ogogo in hospital shortly before his death and disclosed what he told his longtime friend during the emotional encounter.
Quadri’s revelation offers a glimpse into the final hours of an actor whose career and personal relationships made him a respected figure among colleagues in the Yoruba film industry.
