Liverpool Complete £123m Signing of PSG Star Bradley Barcola in Major Premier League Statement

Liverpool have completed the signing of France international Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal that could reach £123 million, giving the Premier League champions another major attacking option ahead of the new season.

The Reds will pay an initial £106 million for the 23-year-old, with a further £17 million available in performance-related add-ons. Barcola has signed a five-year contract and becomes Liverpool’s fifth signing of the summer.

The winger joins after an impressive spell at PSG and arrives with clear ambitions for his new club. Speaking after completing the move, Barcola said his immediate priority is to help Liverpool retain the Premier League title.

“I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it’s one of my biggest dreams in my life.”

Barcola said his previous appearances at Anfield played a major role in convincing him to make the switch. He recalled experiencing the atmosphere inside the stadium and seeing the support from Liverpool fans, saying he knew the club was the right destination once he learned of their interest.

“When I knew about Liverpool’s interest in me, I didn’t ask questions and I knew it was a very big club for me.”

The France forward is Liverpool’s latest addition after Victor Munoz, Jeremy Jacquet, Ronald Araujo and Ifeanyi Ndukwe. He will wear the No. 29 shirt at Anfield.

His arrival also comes as Liverpool assess their attacking options before the transfer window closes. Manchester City are reportedly in talks over Cody Gakpo, while Liverpool are also monitoring Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh and Crystal Palace forward Ismaila Sarr.

The £123 million deal underlines Liverpool’s willingness to invest heavily as they prepare to defend their Premier League crown. Barcola will now look to justify the sizeable fee and establish himself as an important part of the club’s attack.
