Ruth Kadiri Breaks Silence on Marriage: ‘My Husband Is Not a Secret’

Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has dismissed speculation that she deliberately keeps her husband away from the public, insisting that her marriage has never been a secret.

Kadiri made the clarification during a recent episode of the Dear Ife podcast, where she addressed repeated claims that she has been hiding her husband from the media.

The actress explained that she regularly goes out with her husband and that people who know her personally are familiar with him.

According to Kadiri, the major reason her husband is not widely recognised is simply because he does not have a strong presence in media and entertainment circles.

“People keep saying I am hiding my husband, but for clarity, my husband is not a secret. People who know me know my husband,” she said.

She added that the couple attends events and goes to places together, noting that photographs of her husband have also been shared publicly.

“My husband is someone that we literally go almost everywhere together and they post his pictures. It is just that people don’t know him,” Kadiri explained.

The actress’ comments come amid recurring public curiosity about her private life and marriage.

Kadiri has generally maintained a relatively private family life despite her prominence in Nollywood, a decision that has occasionally fuelled speculation among fans and social media users.

However, she made it clear that privacy should not be confused with secrecy, stressing that her husband is known to people within her personal circle even though he is not a familiar face in the entertainment industry.
