Super Falcons Goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor Joins Crystal Palace on Two-Year Deal

Super Falcons goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor has completed a move to Crystal Palace Women, signing a two-year contract with the Women’s Super League side.

Crystal Palace confirmed the signing on Thursday, welcoming the Nigeria international as the latest addition to their squad ahead of the new WSL campaign.

Erhabor expressed excitement about the move, describing her switch to Palace as an important step in her ambition to compete at the highest level of women’s football.

“It feels really good to be here. I’m very excited to get started,” Erhabor said. “I’m aspiring to play at the highest level, so this is a really big step in my career.”

Crystal Palace manager Jo Potter also welcomed the 21-year-old goalkeeper, describing her as a promising young player who could make an impact at the club.

Erhabor joins Palace from Portsmouth, where she made six appearances across all competitions after joining the club in July 2025. She previously developed at the Brighton & Hove Albion Academy before gaining experience on loan at Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle.

Born in the Netherlands and raised in England, Erhabor chose to represent Nigeria at international level. She earned her Super Falcons debut in February 2026 during a friendly against Cameroon.

The goalkeeper was subsequently included in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). However, she did not feature during the tournament as the Super Falcons were eliminated by eventual champions Cameroon in the quarter-finals.

Her move to Crystal Palace continues the growing presence of Nigerian women’s internationals in English football. She follows Super Falcons defender Rofiat Imuran, who recently joined Aston Villa Women for the 2026/27 season.

The transfer represents another major step in Erhabor’s developing career, with the young goalkeeper now set to compete for opportunities in one of Europe’s leading women’s football leagues.
