Cubana Chief Priest: Igbos Will Back Tinubu for 2027 Re-Election, Says Imo Is APC

Socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has declared that Igbos will mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu’s bid for re-election in 2027.

Okechukwu, who serves as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement, a political support group promoting Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, said the South-East has access to the President through his son, Seyi Tinubu.

Speaking to supporters in Imo State, the nightlife entrepreneur also predicted a strong showing for the All Progressives Congress in the state during the 2027 elections.

“We Igbos now have access to Mr. President Tinubu through his son, Seyi Tinubu. That’s why we’re doing everything to make sure he’s re-elected,” he said in a video circulating on social media.

Cubana Chief Priest claimed that thousands of residents were registering with the APC, describing the development as evidence of growing support for the party and the City Boy Movement in Imo.

“Thousands of Imolites are trooping in for registration for APC. Ndi Imo don’t just love the City Boys Movement, they believe in it. Let’s do politics with lifestyle,” he said.

He further declared his support for Tinubu’s 2027 ambition, saying, “On Asiwaju’s mandate, we shall stand. Imo is APC. Here, it’s zero competition.”

The socialite also described the reported increase in APC membership as part of a new approach to political mobilisation, as supporters of Tinubu intensify efforts to build grassroots support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
